Rev. Zenola Diggs (Pastor Zea) is a native of Flint Michigan where she began serving in ministry in the Baptist Church (Full Gospel Fellowship) since her youth as a lay person and the United Methodist Church as a Certified Lay Speaker, Christian educator and faithful choir member.  Rev. Diggs became a licensed minister in 1997 and was ordained as an Elder in 2003 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church –Nashville. She later became a member of the United Methodist Church and became a Local, Licensed Pastor in 2013 serving at the McKendree and Gordon Memorial United Methodist Churches as an Associate Pastor.


Rev. Diggs’ education is from the University of Michigan-Flint, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing and Communications, Master of Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camila Georgia, and Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee.   She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Ministry degree at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH.  She is also a Marriage & Family Therapy Intern in private practice and often provides counseling to adult individuals and couples alongside her husband.


Rev. Diggs is employed full-time at the Tennessee Department of Human Services as a Support Staff Supervisor and considers herself BLESSED to be the newly appointed Senior Pastor at the Fellowship United Methodist Church in Clarksville, Tennessee as of July 1, 2018.  She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated-Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter-Nashville and has been recognized for her leadership in community service and entrepreneurship by 100 Black Women of Middle Tennessee and she was an Athena Award Nominee; a national honor for women in leadership and community service.  Rev. Zenola Diggs is also a published author of the book, “Mrs. Minister- Learning to Do What God Has Asked”.


Rev. Zenola resides in Madison, Tennessee with her husband of 25 years, Rev., Dr. Rodney K. Diggs, and is bonus mom to 3 adult sons and 5 granddaughters.  In her spare time, she enjoys machine quilting, R&B, contemporary jazz and gospel music. Her favorite Bible scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 and she firmly believes that faith should never be compromised for preference or what is popular.  Rev. Diggs’ ultimate ministerial goal is to preach, teach and equip God’s people to live in the uncompromised fullness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ while adhering to The Great Commission as found in Matthew 28:16-20.
